Description

Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee bean is the source of the best Coffee in the world. This is common knowledge among lovers of this beverage. Many thanks to the chocolate and fruity taste that makes you want more every time. Unlike any other Coffee bean, this bean has no trace of bitterness. More so, it comes with an inviting aroma that is hard to ignore. Its creamy smooth feel in the taste buds leaves you with a pleasant aftertaste experience.
Like you may have known, Jamaica is home to this bean. Locals of the Blue Mountain, a place which has a very high altitude, grow the bean. This explains the peculiarity of the bean as the altitude has a role to play in its taste. But, the locals who painstakingly grow and process this bean are few. Thus, they produce only a little above four million pounds of the bean each year; a quantity too small to meet the increasing demand for the Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee bean.
Asides from the taste, there are other things which account for the high demand for the bean. First, those who process the bean roast it properly as an over-roast reduces the taste. Secondly, manual labor helps to hand-sort the bean to ensure the quality. And lastly, the Jamaica Coffee Industry Board ensures the quality is intact. Usually, a panel of experts inspects the green and roasted bean for any defect.

Brewing the Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee
Before anything else, note that storing the Coffee bean in a cool and dry place is best. More so, you should also note that the place must have no sunlight access except it’s time for consumption. Also, avoid grinding the bean except you want to use it.
There are different methods for brewing the Blue Mountain Coffee but the French Press method is being described here.
First, grind the bean and measure. Continue to do this until you have your desired quantity. However, 1.1 oz is a good measure for anyone.
Next is to reach out for filtered water. Though tap water can good for it, it is best to use filtered water especially if one desires a perfect taste
The next thing is to brew the filtered water. Usually, a temperature between 90-96 degrees Celsius approximately, is best.
To proceed, put the grounded bean into the French Press as the water’s temperature gets to the desired value.
Ensure the timer is set to 4 minutes so that you can use it for the next step.
Add the filtered water to the grounded bean inside the French Press when it attains your chosen temperature. Then, seal the Press and start the timer simultaneously.
Once you hear the buzz of the timer, separate the bean and have yourself some good morning Coffee.
When you get to this point, you will agree that the taste of the Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee bean is in the drinking indeed.
